People: Great, Food: Excellent , Accommodations: Outstanding.....But: Mike has sold the business and overbooked the camp the week of our hunt, and didn’t have enough guides in camp. Seemed to me like this was a last ditch effort to generate some money before the business actually changed hands. I’m not new to hunting with outfitters/guides. I’ve hunted mule deer, antelope, bear and white tail with other outfits but this was my first elk hunt, and all I can say about the actual time on the mountain hunting is that I’m sadly disappointed. It was more like an over glorified 8 hour hiking & horseback ride through the mountains.
