★☆☆☆☆Incredibly rude. I asked if my pheasant could come on a dog hunt and the guy acted like I was joking. He’s never met my pheasant, he doesn’t know what it’s capable of. Anyway, I think the dogs were pre-planted on the property.

My first hunt was a pheasant hunt, and it was also the first hunt with my dog. As a new hunter, I had a lot to learn, and Jim was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. He took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable throughout the experience. Yesterday, I returned for a wild hog hunt, and once again, the experience exceeded all expectations. I was fortunate enough to harvest a large hog and create memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. Jim’s guidance, professionalism, and willingness to help made all the difference. The property is beautiful, the hunting is excellent, and the people are genuinely passionate about what they do. First and only guide I’ll ever book with. I’m a young guy who’s learning the ropes and Jim gave me many many years of turkey knowledge in one day. I felt comfortable and Jim answered any questions I had as a new hunter. I couldn’t recommend Jim enough. I have been hunting here for many years now. When I started Jim was the only one who actually answered emails/phone calls (a lot of similar providers do not bother to return a call or reply to emails). A good way to keep your dog in a good shape. Jim and the team are friendly and reliable.

Extremely rude over the phone. I was told my questions were “silly.” Don’t waste your time, in my experience when people are rude over the phone they are always more rude in person. Im new to hunting so sorry if my questions are “silly” I just want to know what my hard earned money gets me without being talked to like an idiot.

I called after being referred by a friend because I was genuinely interested in learning how to become part of what I was told was a welcoming community. I wanted information on how to get started with duck hunting, even without my dog at first, and possibly becoming more involved over time. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone, Joe/John, cant remember the name, was extremely rude. He made assumptions about my dog being untrustworthy despite never having met me or my dog, and the conversation quickly felt dismissive rather than informative. I was simply calling to ask questions and learn, but instead I was made to feel humiliated and stupid for even trying to explore an interest of mine. It’s disappointing, especially when you’re reaching out hoping to join a supportive community. This interaction completely shut me down and made me feel silly for trying in the first place.
