We used this service late in the season. We were in an open water blind and were having a slower day when a group of mallards flew in. Six to seven guns blazed away and two birds went down. One of them turned out to be a blonde mallard; a pretty rare bird. The guide disappeared with it for a while and then returned to the blind where he announced he had shot the bird and was going to keep it for mounting. We did not argue about it in the blind but approached the owner of the service later that afternoon. We were told that he would get us the bird. Sadly, he did not prove to be a man of his word and we were just out of luck. I have spoken to a few guides at other services and they said this was a serious no no. Therefore, we will not use this service again and I can't recommend them to anyone else.
