Family rented the whole venue for the weekend for our nephews wedding and it was great. We drove from out of town and stayed down the road in one of their cabins as cabins on ranch were full. Alot of people camped too. Wish more cabins on property, but ours was really nice. Went horseback riding too. Fun. Really lovely lovely wedding venue.

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely breath taking. Jess was so great to work with and made sure our day ran so smooth. I would recommend this place to everyone!! We will definitely be going back for a family reunion or a fun getaway.

Amazing people and beautiful country. It’s great for all ages and a variety of events.

I went to my niece's wedding there. The venue is very nice. Food was good. Had a great time.
★★★★★
Great experience, was there for a country dance, really good views and good parking, only downside is it's a ways out, but it's a nice and secluded place.

If you want to have a boring horseback ride this is for you. 1 beginner rider should not dictate the entire group’s adventure. The scenery is beautiful but I got stuck at the front and my friend was several horses back. The guide up front spent the hour long ride chatting to only the new rider and my friend got to listen to a group of ladies gossiping with the rear guide about someone they all knew. The guides we not professional and did not create a group environment of fun.

This was our second time going out riding here. Owner & staff are wonderful. They take their time with introduction & answer any questions you might have. Absolutely beautiful property!!
★★★★★
I can't say enough good about this family owned operation. We worked together for 14 months to plan a gathering of over 150 campers and the Ranch was responsive, helpful and nformative the entire time. The facility is so peaceful and pretty, every one of our attendees had nothing but good things to say about the venue. The family was always available when needed. If you are looking for an event venue in a serene setting, you must check this ranch out. Plus, Plus, Plus

Best Venue in Idaho! beautiful area. The owners are great. We attended Wedding there so impressed!
★★★★★
Lovely venue and location! Just the right balance between rustic and comfortable. Importantly, the roads are well-maintained, but we should probably have left the sedan at home. :-) Close to the Payette and its rapids, and surrounded by forest with photo-demanding vistas and wildflowers. So many wildflowers, in fact, that if the place ever has a slow wedding season (which I doubt), they could host field trips for plant and wildlife lovers, including universities. Fair warning, however: get gas before leaving Horseshoe Bend!

My wife and I booked a trail ride at Lazy R Ranch for our first vacation to Idaho from Wisconsin. She'd never ridden a horse before, and this turned out to be a beautiful, perfect place to check off that box. The route we took to the ranch had an unannounced road closing, so we realized we'd never make it on time. We were the only riders scheduled for that time slot, so the guide kindly agreed to wait for us to go around the other route. We were a bit rattled by the time we arrived, but Payton and his Dad were very easy going and made us feel at home immediately. We had great conversation and saw beautiful scenery and wildlife, and they stayed late to give us a full ride! This was the highlight of our trip and we felt like family by the time we left. We could not have asked for more, and can't wait to bring our family back to Idaho for another trail ride. This experience was truly priceless!

★★★★★
Absolutely amazing experience! Beautiful country, great people! Highly recommend!
★★★★★
Great trail ride operation that’s worth the gravel road drive up the mountain to get there. Safety conscious, well trained horses that still do ranch work, gorgeous countryside, and hosts that are kind, patient and personable. Glad we found them! They also operate as Idaho Outfitters.
★★★★★
if It was possible for me to leave a 10 plus Star review I would. I went on an amazing 2 hr trail ride today with Idaho Outfitters inc with Lexi, her Dad and Jake. Outstanding! wonderful instruction and excellent horses. I unfortunately, right at the end of the ride experienced and very unexpected medical situation. It is said that there are Angels among who come to us at our darkest hour. I met some amazing Angels that helped a stranger today. The biggest Angel was Lexi"s Dad who kept me from falling and hitting my head. I am just fine and can never possibly thank them enough for their kindness! Excellence in action. Thank you, Terri from Texas

Took an hour horseback ride. We absolutely loved it. The views were breathtaking and the horses were amazing. The trail leaders were very knowledgeable and great all around. We would go back in a minute next time we are in ID.

The venue is beautiful, but the communication is really lacking. I had a very hard time during the planning phase getting adequate and timely answers from the assistant. Very difficult to contact and wasn't very knowledgeable about the venue. During our event, I let them know of existing plumbing issues in both the Ranch House and the barn. One of the bathrooms in the barn didn't even work during our reception because the bowl wouldn't fill. This was disappointing. Neither of these issues were acknowledged at all. Furthermore, I was very forthcoming that we would be bringing our dog and that it was very important to us to have her there to be a part of our wedding. They never told me she wasn't allowed in ANY of the buildings and was expected to stay outside the entire time. I would have looked for a different venue had I known this. They slipped this into the contract and then used it to keep my entire deposit and took 3 weeks to even tell me that they weren't refunding any of my deposit. I felt that this was very dishonest of them and would recommend anyone booking this venue to go through the contract with a fine tooth comb and not rely on your conversations with them. I would also not recommend this venue if having your pet as part of your event is important to you. It would have been a huge hassle to keep her outside the entire time.

If you’d provide me with an email I will gladly email you the situation. If I were to post it, it’d read very poorly on your business. Hints why I left 1 star and no comment.
