For the hunters out there who have been saving points, this is a unique hunt for high country mule deer during September. You will be focused on 170″+ deer in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Across the western states there are few opportunities to rifle hunt deer before they migrate out of the highest elevations. We are lucky to have this hunt here in the Flat Tops.

Guided Rifle Mule Deer or Elk Base Camp Hunt

We will be guiding two hunters from our base property during 3rd season. You should expect to be riding a minimum of 2-3hrs each day. We will be hunting hard to reach locations that the general public has a hard time getting into and that have little outfitting pressure. You will be staying in clean and comfortable base camp lodging. 3 meals a day are included.

New in 2015, as a result of seeing abundant bear populations and four ruined wall tents in 2014, we are offering this combo option at reduced prices! You will not find a comparable hunt for the price that is 1-on-1 guided with multiple species targeted. These hunts will take place at elevations between 8,500-11,500. This is a spot-and-stalk hunt. Depending on preseason scouting, we may hunt from a wilderness camp or from our base camp. You will be hunting deer that rifle hunters are accumulating 5-8 years of preference points to hunt.

Big Game Drop Camp Hunt

Our traditional drop camps offer hunters the opportunity to experience a wilderness hunt with horseback access to remote camps. We have 13 camps, from 2 miles to 16 miles from base camp. Different camps are better during different parts of the season, and certain camps are better for deer while others are better for elk. We require that all drop camps have a working form of communication to base camp.

Guided Archery Big Game Hunt

1–4 hunters📅 SepWe already have 2 hunters booked in the camp and are looking for 2-4 additional hunters. No minimum group size. Remote camp that sits right at 11,000 ft. elevation after a 3 hour horseback ride from the closest access point.

We are also putting a high elevation full-service, guided archery camp together. We already have 2 hunters booked in the camp and are looking for 2-4 additional hunters. If you are an individual or a pair of archers, we can accommodate you on this hunt. No minimum group size. We will be using a remote camp that sits right at 11,000 ft. elevation after a 3 hour horseback ride from the closest access point.

📅 Aug – OctFor 2021, S2 is our top choice for non-resident sheep hunters that are in decent physical condition. This unit requires serious scouting and serious hunting. Hunters need to be prepared for a long duration backpack hunt, if you want a chance at the older rams.
