Those photos really capture the place—the rolling Kentucky hills, ponds, sporting clays course, and lodge make it look more like a resort than a shooting facility. Elk Creek Hunt Club is one of the most beautiful sporting clays facilities I’ve visited. The course winds through rolling Kentucky hills with well-maintained cart paths connecting the stations, making for a relaxing and scenic experience. Everywhere you look there are picturesque views, ponds, and beautifully kept grounds. The lodge and facilities are first class, and the entire property has a welcoming, upscale feel while still maintaining a true outdoor sporting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the winery was closed during my visit, but the hunt club itself was open and well worth the trip. Whether you’re a serious clay shooter or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, Elk Creek Hunt Club offers a fantastic experience in a truly beautiful setting. I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful facility. That’s about all I can say good about the place. Came here back in the early summer with some buddies to shoot. Half the traps didn’t work. The ones that did work were out of clays. Just figured it was a bad day. So I came back last week about 5 months later. They had the same targets from back when I was there in the summer. Very disappointing. Talking to some of the people that shoot there a lot. They said the same thing as I discovered. Traps don’t work half the time, targets rarely get changed. Very disappointing. Probably won’t be back. Definitely would NOT recommend. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

This is a family ran and owned business. I absolutely love the atmosphere although it is a little pricey. Everyone is always really nice and it just feels like home when you walk in the door. Do not go here. The “Manager” said me and my wife were drunk and on drugs and refused us. We are both in the military we are definitely not on drugs and it was noon hadn’t had a drink since 10 the night before. Waste of a drive. Terrible service would never recommend. Grounds are horribly maintained. Not a classy place by far. Broken launchers. Take your money elsewhere. This place looks like it caters to the barefoot

Whether for an extended outing or a spontaneous visit, this place has options for members to walk-ins. Generally around $100 will buy you a fun time and the fun scales with expenses from there. Staff are friendly, helpful, and no-nonsense. Be safe if you approach from the hillside road instead of the interstate, it goes from 55 to 25 around some of the forested turns.

Had anbawesone time for a charity event. It was my first try at this type of shooting, and I totally loved it! Well-kept grounds, and all of the station equipment worked. Nice club house and table area out back. Staff is suoer nice and well versed in the industry. Golf carts are a plus.

We hosted a clay shooting event here over the weekend. The staff and facilities here are top notch. Shadoe and the rest of the staff ensured everything ran smoothly for our event, as well as for our set up and breakdown. The pavilion was perfect for lunch and awards. Our shooters loved the course. The lodging in both buildings is great. The sunsets and sunrises didn't disappoint. Although the neighboring winery had closed for tastings and their restaurant, we were able to find great food nearby. Highly recommend Elk Creek for your events, you can feel the pride and care taken to make this place great.
