Black Bear Hunts

Pelly Lake Outfitters offers guided, spot and stalk spring black bear hunts in our exclusive 3000 square mile area in north central British Columbia. Our bear hunts are conducted from our comfortable camp, using 4 wheel drive vehicles to drive old logging roads, we spot the bears feeding on the new grass, dandelions, and clover. Spring bear hunters stay in a comfortable camp equipped with a generator and hot shower. All bear hunts are 2 hunters per guide ratio, with usually only 4 hunters per hunt, most hunters will averaging 4-6 bear sightings per day. Bears average over 6′ in length with some over 7′. This is a great hunt for young hunters and archery hunters as bears are plentiful and can be stalked to with in bow range. Hunters can expect to a variety of game animals and game birds including moose, elk, Lynx, mountain goats, caribou, ruffed grouse, and maybe wolf. Fishing can also be included on the spring hunts.
