For the person who wants a real Montana experience, for the person who truly understands off grid, but with some lovely etcs...no electricity unless the genny is on but warm showers, great meals and reasonable wi if, this is an amazing place. Hospitality 100%, cabins so cozy, dogs welcome. And most importantly, folks who want to tell you how to make this the best it can be. Soak it in. It's amazing!

One of my favorite places with dome of my favorite people. Unplug, disconnect, explore the local area, or sit on the deck and watch hummingbirds while listening to the Spotted Bear River a few feet away. They bring in great music, and the food this year is A++!

What a fun, relaxing experience. From the moment you get there it's peaceful. The lodge, dining hall, and bar are located near the property entrance. The back deck of the lodge sits uptop and looks down onto a majestic view of the river. If you get a cabin by the river, you can hear it. All the cabins had their own unique qualities to them. Bobbi Jo and Renee were so welcoming to our group. Gave us a quick tour and told us about the property and amenities. Dinner was outstanding!!! Prime Rib in the wilderness! What a fantastic surprise! Anything we needed was kindly provided. Off grid lodging with unexpected hospitality and service.

Bobbie Jo came to our rescue. We had a tire go bad and she offered to take it over 50 miles and get it fixed. WE WERE NOT even staying at the ranch. We had the pleasure of enjoying dinner at the Diamond R Ranch while out on a fishing trip and camping across the road at spotted bear campground. Lisa and Bill are gracious hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we were full up on laughter and food. An absolute gem of place.
