But did not stop there. Went back for a mule deer hunt and JW didn't give up until I got my trophy mule deer. For me it was my greatest hunt yet. ★★★★★I recently booked an elk hunt with JW Kinder and Cowboy Country Outfitters. From the beginning, the adventure was more than I hoped for. The scenery in the Bighorn Mountains was breathtaking. It was a late-season hunt, so the elk had "herded up." I got to witness Satellite Bulls patrolling the perimeter of the herd. I got to hear cow elk "chirp" for the first time. I got to see the power of the Herd Bull. Although I didn't make the kill (might have been a little Buck Fever!) I will NEVER FORGET that experience. Thanks JW for helping me cross one off my bucket list!!!

★★★★★I traveled over 22 hours to Wyoming for my first elk hunt not knowing what to expect. JW delivered! I would have considered it a success to see any wild elk. JW found about 75 of them the 1st morning. We let them bed for the day, began our climb to the top of the mountain, and during the last hour of the 1st day we had two elk down.This was a memorable trip with great scenery, lots of game and a guide who obviously knows the movement patterns of elk in the area. I would highly recommend JW and Cowboy Country Outfitters to anyone wanting to hunt elk in and around Wyoming's Bighorn Mountains!

Even though we walked a lot on our hunt, we most certainly enjoyed it. We never gave up because we trusted him, and thanks to that we had a very successful hunt. ★★★★★Great hunting experience on my first elk hunt ever. Beautiful country and lots of action. JW sighted a bull and cow entering a thick tree stand early on our first day. We worked to get into position and wait them out. It was later in the afternoon when another bull elk came charging in from the opposite direction. He was running at full throttle about 15 feet from my spot. It sounded like a freight train! I was so startled that I never raised my rifle. Oh well, beginners jitters. I will be back next year to get my trophy elk.

★☆☆☆☆I bought the last 3 day cow elk hunt of the season and did not even un-case my gun the last 2 days. When I politely told JW that I was frustrated with how the last 2 days went, I had his finger in my face and f-bombs directed at me. I personally got the feeling that he did not want to even be there. $2000 doesn't get you very much when hunting with JW.
