I will say first that we saw plenty of deer just nothing that we were wanting to shoot. We paid for a deer/hog combo hunt, Eddie drove us around showed us 14 stands in about 35 minutes while on the phone the entire time just pointing towards the direction of the stands. When asked about a few bucks he had on camera he acted like he didn't know where the pictures were taken and said they are everywhere (Which while I agree that the bucks travel everywhere I imagine he knew where pictures were taken). So after the first evening and first full day not leaving the stand and not seeing what were looking for we decided to look at the map that he HAS in the house we stayed in and we saw a stand that nobody had hunted and decided to hunt. While hunting the stand I received a text from one of the guys hunting with us saying "You're in Eddie's wife's stand and you're not supposed to be there. He's put a second feeder there because they have a big buck showing up there that his wife wants to shoot and he wants to keep it there. Thats why he didn't show it to us.". To me that sounds a little bit deceiving to not show us the stand and put a second feeder to try and keep the buck away from other stands after we as a group have payed money to hunt the property. I've never heard of a guide that proactively trys to keep you from killimg your target animals but this was my first experience paying and hunting out of state so maybe it's a thing? Also we as a group saw 0 pigs, one of us heard them. The straw that broke the camels back was the house we stayed in had roaches so after getting back we had to wash EVERYTHING so that we also wouldn't have roaches in our respective households.

Eddie, Tammi and Clyde were wonderful hosts for our over night hog hunt. Clyde was extremely patient with our rookie questions. I cant say enough good things about this experience.

I'm going to give you an hunters review on this place. PROs- Lots of good deer People who run it are very nice people CONS- *You have to figure out where to hunt yourself *They give you an old truck to drive to each place but you cannot access the back seat so if you have a big group like us, yeah you guessed it you're riding in the back of the truck. * The stands are homemade and aren't in the right direction or right on the property line * People run deer with ATVs while you're in the stand. * If you kill a deer you will be cleaning it. So basically we didn't expect what we got but I want everyone to understand this thus why I wrote the review. If you want to go hunt and not care about being shown where this is a good place. Again the owners are very nice.
