The semi guided hunt is a great upgrade for DIY hunters. Tammy runs a great hunt camp.

Cherokee Outfitter has some amazing people working for them except one of the owners. The brother. He was very rude when i spoke to him. The accommodation were awesome. Food was amazing. Guides were very polite and like able. Although they didn't do the due diligence. We paid for a guided hunt thinking they would take us to the Elk. They did the first day where two elk were taken successfully. After the next few days i felt like i was scouting with them for the next season hunt. 2 out 12 hunters were successful for the second rifle season. You do the math. Little disappointed that they were guessing where to go next. No preliminary work was done on their part. We were a group of four. Two of my friends were left on a mountain with an hour and half walk through the wilderness with no communications. Thankfully they were trained and was able to get out of the woods themselves. They waited until 1930 for the the guide to return which refused to go get them, Due to the rough terrain. . They made it back to camp after midnight. This should've never happened.
