One day hunt for your choice of either blue or sage. We can also do both with additional days. We do not use dogs as the birds are plentiful but our country here is too big we have too much ground to cover in a day. We instead use pickups and more of a spot and stalk technique to find the birds. If you have your own dog and want to try a new bird with them please feel free to bring your pup.

Hunt over bait at the Dexter Peak Ranch. Our spring and fall trophy black bear hunts are over baits. The majority of the bears come in later in the afternoon and evening so the mornings are spent looking for bears to spot and stalk. This is a very laid back and relaxing hunt held out of our high mountain lodge. Due to our unpredictable weather and mortality quota this hunt needs to be on an on-call basis.
