Cadwell Outfitters & Ranch is a third-generation family-owned outfitter located in the mountains of Southwest Colorado, 50 miles SW of Gunnison. They specialize in self-guided elk and mule deer hunts in limited, draw-only areas (GMU's 66 and 67), providing cabins and meat pack-out services. Daily guide service is available by appointment.

5 days📅 Sep – NovLocated in a limited, draw-only area! Hunters Safety Cards are required for anyone born after 1949 to apply for a license in Colorado. Season dates for 2022: Archery (Sept 2-30), Black Powder (Sept 10-18), First Rifle Elk (Oct 15-19), Second Rifle Elk and Deer Combined (Oct 29-Nov 6), Third Rifle Elk and Deer Combined (Nov 12-18), Fourth Rifle, Combined Limited Elk and Deer (Nov 23-27).

We offer hunt on your own hunts with cabins. We have both un-modern and modern cabins available depending on the area you would like to hunt. We pack your meat out and we also try to meet the needs of our hunters through out the duration of the hunt. Guiding is available by request only.
