Huge fan of Buck Country! It’s always a first class experience. Bill and his staff are phenomenal. They’re very accommodating, I’ve always saw dozens and dozens of deer each visit, and they make you feel at home. Look forward to my annual visit to their lodge and catching up with them. Highly recommend to all considering a spot for a great hunting experience.

Had a great time! Lodging and food was great! Bill and his staff were very accommodating and friendly. Hunting was a little slow that week due to the weather being so warm but that's hunting. I saw 2 nice shooters right at dark. Stands are set up very nice. I hunted in ladder stands the entire week and they were hid very well. The deer never knew i was there. I would definitely go back again and highly recommend this place. Thanks Bill and staff again!

This was my first paid hunt. The lodge is very large and clean. The food was great and fulfilling. Bill and his crew did an amazing job at making sure you were put on the deer. You can tell they put in alot of preseaon work on studying the deer and stand preparation. Every stand I hunted with zero issues and easy access. I was able to harvest a deer on my trip and the guys recovered, and had the deer in the cooler in no time. I would recommend anyone to hunt Buck Country Outfitters you will not be disappointed.

I turkey hunted here this year. I’m a guy that likes to guide myself. Just give me the property and a place to stay type thing. Before coming here I actually read the reviews and, asked Bill about some of the negative ones once I arrived. He said to me the reviews about the deer stands were 💯 % correct! But, Bill was not the owner then 😎. Once he bought the place a few years ago, he invested heavily on new ladder and box stands. I roamed a ton of property and all I saw were new deer stands all over the place to play different winds. Everything he told me before booking and after arriving was spot on and that is much appreciated by me big time! The lodge is clean, modern, great food, plenty of drinks and snacks, and gorgeous properties! 6 out of the 7 hunters were successful and that’s a good number. Lastly, me and one other guy was the last turkey hunters for the year. He only ran hunters on half of his properties and could have easily booked another 10-15 hunters for the season. He gave up revenue to keep his turkey populations strong for the next season. That’s something not many would do. Thank you Bill and crew for honesty and a fantastic trip!

This was the best hunting trip we have ever been on. The lodge was wonderful and the food was excellent. Bill is very nice and his right hand man,Nate, is the best guide out there. We had the pleasure of shooting a doe on our hunt. Saw plenty of deer. 30 buck 30 doe. Already booked a hunting trip for next year. The deer we saw were young deer but we got to see 2 giants, just too far away to shoot.

Was a very slow week. Only saw maybe 15 deer all week nothing anywhere close to being big enough to shoot. If you're bigger than 150lbs most stands are going to be very uncomfortable. The first ladder stand I "tried" to get in before daylight the first morning Didn't have any pins in it connecting the sections. Came apart when I was halfway up the tree.

We had such a great time last week when we were there. There were lots of big bucks seen by almost everyone which is awesome, because it was late season. That goes to show you how great this place is. To see that many mature deer in the late season is a rare thing. The stands are great and in all the right places and there is no shortage of stands to choose from. The hospitality is 2nd to none, the food was great and the lodge is beautiful. I can't wait to go back!
