Branded Rock Canyon is one of those rare places that not only meets expectations—it exceeds them in every possible way. Our family came for a vacation and left already missing the place.
The ranch strikes an incredible balance between rugged adventure and first-class hospitality. During our stay we enjoyed horseback riding, world-class shooting instruction, hiking, axe throwing, exploring the ranch by vehicle, and watching more wildlife than we've ever seen anywhere else. The scenery is simply breathtaking—15,000 acres of spectacular Colorado landscape that feels both secluded and luxurious. Every day offered something new, whether you wanted an adrenaline-filled adventure or a quiet moment taking in the views.
The food deserves special recognition. Every meal was exceptional and on par with what you'd expect from a high-end destination resort. It's clear that every detail is intentional, from the accommodations to the dining experience.
What truly sets Branded Rock Canyon apart, however, is the people. Amy, Raquel, Brian, Brady, Brad, and Charlee made us feel like honored guests from the moment we arrived. We loved every minute of our stay! Top of the line, accommodations, rooms and location! The whole canyon offers so many fun things! Shooting ranges, horseback riding, wonderful meals catered to our own preferences. The grounds were superb! Deer, turkeys, trout, cottontail rabbits and we even saw a young bear in the early morning. Loved the wildlife and the super green areas around the lodge.The whole staff including Ana, Raquel, Charlie, Brian, Brady, Brad were very educated in their fields of knowledge! Super helpful and patient with everything we tried! I left trying to remember everything in pictures and memories! Thank you to all !

Wow, where to start. If you are sitting here thinking if you should book this trip-book it now. My husband booked this trip to improve his turkey hunting skills. I joined him along with my 3 year old daughter. The staff is incredible and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Since my husband got his turkey on the first day, the guide (Brad-awesome!) took me shooting and then I got to enjoy an incredible massage. The staff set up an art table with easels and paint for my daughter. Food was incredible and they tailor meals and drinks to your liking. Wildlife is everywhere and the property is insane. Extra bonus, my daughter and I got to go to the stables, see the horses and play with a puppy. Unforgettable trip and we can’t wait to come back!

It is hard to say enough good things about Branded Rock Canyon. Every aspect of my experience was superlative. The location is amazingly beautiful. The lodge is luxuriously comfortable. The food was delicious. The staff was professional, friendly and incredibly attentive. I was made to feel at home the moment I got there. And, finally, the shooting instruction was excellent. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and moved the class along at a pace that worked well for all the students. They were able to impart an incredible amount of knowledge in three days that literally flew by.

Details matter and BRC has a keen eye for all the touches. Their inquiry form that was requested before the visit was definitely acknowledged with finesse. Total VIP treatment during our business retreat - grateful for the perfect snacks, gluten free and healthy options. The gym was wonderful too! Branded Rock Canyon provided the greatest vacation my wife and I have ever experienced, period!
The lodge is the most surreal hunting lodge I have ever experienced. The views from every part of the property are breathtaking (pretty sure its over 30,000 acres). Amy was extremely hospitable making sure every and all of our needs were met. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable.
My wife, who never shot a rifle prior to completing the Precision Elk Hunting course, was confident in her abilities to harvest her first cow elk by course completion! Brian, Frank, and Brady provided us with the knowledge and skills that made both of our hunts successful. As first time big game hunters, they took their time to teach us proper field dressing and processing techniques. All 4 hunters tagged out successfully.
The food and drink selections were amazing. The bartender's drinks were always on point, and Chef was conscientious to all our food preferences. It was fine dining from dawn to dusk (make sure to ask for the Elk Ravioli) and snacks/drinks were always available 24/7.
We are thankful for the time and experiences shared with the staff, and we are looking forward to coming back to make more memories and fill up our freezers for the year, again.
PS. Don't let Frank show you the kittens, you may come home with one like we did...

It simply doesn’t get better than this. What a hidden little gem in the back country of my home state of Colorado.
It really made me miss home. The property is immaculate, the staff treat you like family visiting from out of town.
I went for a work board meeting, so I didn’t get a chance to enjoy a fraction of what this place has to offer.
I’ll definitely be making my way back at some point for pleasure. Thank you Amy, Brian, and team for such tremendous hospitality and for preserving this little slice of heaven on a hill.

My wife and I went a few years ago and loved it. This is still our favorite Kessler signature location, and we did not even hunt or fish when we visited! It has an old roadside luxury vibe to it, almost like stepping inside a game of Clue. It’s the most elegant place I’ve discovered to unplug at... and the surrounding area has a very quaint “Mayberry” small town vibe. Awesome food prepared by a chef who caters to the small groups that stay, remote location, no cable TV, great views and hiking spots, rustic southwest style art decor... On our way out, we were held up by a cattle drive coming through for about 45 mins, and we weren’t even mad! It was so cool to watch some real cowpokes at work we sat happily!!!
