Today was my first trip time pheasant hunting at Black Canyon Clay and Pheasant and it beyond exceeded my expectations. My dad and I use to go pheasant hunting together when I was younger, and we were planning on buying memberships together but he unfortunately passed away a couple years ago. Life got busy for me and I shelved buying a membership, but finally this last spring I saved enough money and I decided to buy one and went out today. From the friendly staff, my extraordinary guide and his great dog, and most importantly a beautiful morning, I could not have asked for a better day. I have a 9 month old so getting out of the house isn’t the easiest haha being a dad, but it was all I could ask for and more being able to hunt some pheasants today. I am already booked my next trip and am looking forward to being a member for a long time.

Had a good time, our guide was great and his dogs worked good. Only saw 20 of the 30 birds we booked. charged for 30 still though which was a little disappointing. Don't mind paying for missed shots. Stings to pay for birds you never get to shoot at though. (Edit) owner made everything right which I greatly appreciate and respect. Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Patrick

This is an amazing place with great people, fantastic shooting facilities, great fields to hunt. Birds are placed randomly but we have always found almost all birds, sometimes more. Guides with dogs are available but need to be reserved. Highly recommend!

Went pheasant hunting. That is not my kind of hunting, a couple of pheasants didn't even fly away and the dog got them. Was also not impressed with the dogs retrieving. They had some nice chips and salsa and a free beer afterwards. Nice enough people but just not my kind of thing.
