Bitterwater Outfitters delivered an amazing experience for my son and I. Booking the hunt was super easy and they were very informative as to how the hunt was going to play out. We arrived late on a Friday and got our paperwork handled then set up our camp. We then were taken to the shooting range where we confirmed our rifles were sighted in. Saturday morning we met our guides Jessie and Mikey. They were awesome. I told them this hunt was to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday and they really delivered a memory that will last a lifetime. A short ride to the hunting grounds and we spotted multiple groups of wild pigs. Once we found the right ones they set me up on a shot where I harvested 2 eater pigs. After they were field dressed and dropped off at the ranch we then went for my son’s pig. We located another nice eater pig where Jessie and Mikey set my son up and walked him through the shot. My son got his pig and he couldn’t have been happier. The memories they provided will never be forgotten . Great place for a father son’s first pig hunt. We highly recommend Bitterwater Outfitters. We will be returning to experience another one of their hunts without a doubt.

I recently hunted wild pigs with Bitterwater Outfitter and had an outstanding experience. Clayton is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. The entire trip felt more like hunting with an old buddy than booking a guided hunt. The properties they have access to on California’s Central Coast are absolutely beautiful, with incredible views and plenty of wildlife. We saw a lot of animals throughout the hunt, and I was fortunate enough to harvest two pigs during the trip. From start to finish, everything was well organized, safe, and enjoyable. Whether you’re an experienced hunter or looking to book your first guided hunt, I would highly recommend Bitterwater Outfitters. I’ll definitely be back for another hunt.

Do not pass them up! I got into hunting six years ago at the recommendation of a longtime friend. I came across Bitterwater Outfitters(B.O.) for a Wild Pig hunt. Mrs. Tara Grant was awesome to deal with right from the start. At every step of the way, Mrs. Tara was prompt in updating me regarding my deposit, scheduled hunt, and other details of my upcoming hunt. My friend and his Son caught wind of my hunt and wanted to join me. The Mrs. Tara and the entire staff at Bitterwater Outfitters accommodated us at every step of the way. Checking In - Michael Renteria. Pure Professional. He has been working for B.O. for 14 years. He met us and handled all registration. He then insured our rifles were zeroed. Michael is patient. Informative. And extremely helpful. Very good Man! Hunt Day - We met Clayton Grant and Michael. We ventured out as a group to get our pigs. They made every effort to meet our expectations. Clayton is "Salt of the Earth" people. He is a "Throw back" to a time I once knew. I walked away feeling I made new friends. Both Clayton and Michael make a great team to get your "tag" filled. They are "Top shelf" people whom run a fantastic organization, and provide a great service. We got our pigs and returned to the B.O. Headquarters. They helped to skin and quarter our harvest. Clayton and Tara were awesome from the moment I booked my guided deer hunt. On the day of the hunt, Clayton and Bryce took my wife and I out and had me on a buck within an hour. Had a great wild pig hunt with Clayton and the guys @ Bitterwater Outfitters last week. This was the first hunting trip my buddy & I had ever been on, and it couldn't have gone better. Everything was smooth from the time we contacted Clayton to set up our schedule, to the time we hit the pavement leaving the ranch. Clayton & the crew are a great bunch to work with. Arrival & check-in were smooth and easy. Mike got us sighted in on the range in a jiffy. We spent the afternoon just lounging in the Gillis house, which was superbly clean and tidy & stocked with all the kitchen utensils we needed to cook up some supper. We were out & on the pigs the next morning, right at sunrise. Clayton, Danny, and Ben were on-task with finding the pigs & getting us into a great spot to shoot from. There wasn't a single hiccup throughout our couple days there. I don't think we could have imagined up a better experience.

First time hunters for myself and son. Our guide for the 2 day school was Randy. Each got a pig on the first shot. I can’t say enough how knowledgeable Randy is. He also makes you feel like you have known him forever. Randy is the salt of the earth kind of guy that has so much experience and knowledge he imparts. Well worth the money. When you look back on your experience and then watch some videos on YouTube you will see how your hunt will be better then these ‘experienced’ hunters showcase as successful.
