    Hunted with BTO this week, what a great experience! Nathan has worked hard to ensure that his clients are comfortable, warm, and on the X for a great hunt. Thankfully the birds cooperated for us! We hunted The Airport blind and it was awesome, simple as that. After the hunt we headed to his lodge, checked out The Train Station and Tower blind set-ups, and relaxed over cold beverages. If you are researching outfitters in Northern Colorado, you'd be remiss in not reaching out to Nathan to book with him. Ask about lodging as well, and not just for your hunt! He and his wife have an amazing place and can host fairly large groups for both hunt and non-hunt visits. Absolutely 5 star, highly recommend!!!

    I did a 3 day hunt with BTO and it offered some of the best waterfowl days that I’ve ever experienced! Everyone in my group killed so many ducks and geese. There was non stop action and all of the blinds, spreads, and equipment were top notch. His guides and dogs were all amazing. 10/10 recommend booking a hunt with Dustin.. I am definitely planning on booking another hunt!

    Traveled from Texas to Colorado to hunt geese and ducks with Big Thompson Outfitters and it was an absolute blast. Best waterfowl hunt I’ve ever been on. Hospitality, lodging, and overall experience were all first class. I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know and I’m already looking forward to my next trip back.

    Best duck and goose hunting experience I’ve ever had. From the top-notch amenities to the unique train station blind, you won’t find a better outfitter in Colorado. Dustin and Jamie are exceptional hosts who truly treat you like family. Our group came from all over the U.S., and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Shotgun rentals and ammo were reasonably priced, the hunts were well run, and the cold beers waiting for us afterward were the perfect touch. I can’t wait to book my next trip. Thank you again to Big Thompson Outfitters for an unforgettable experience!

    I've tried them all but Big Thompson Outfitters is by far the best duck and goose outfitter in Colorado. TVs, massive heaters, flattop grilled breakfast in Colorado's best blinds hunting over ice free water. Style, comfort, and bag limits all in one, go get some.

    The Best Waterfowl Experience in Colorado! If you’re looking for top-notch guiding, great people, and a cushy waterfowl hunting experience in Colorado, Big Thompson Outfitters is just for you. From start to finish, the experience is always spectacular. The floating blind (The Trainstation) is hands-down the best in Colorado—incredibly well-designed, comfortable, and perfectly set up for an unforgettable hunt. Killer breakfast burritos on the blackstone, and heated space to move around and socialize really step up the comfort to the next level. Their new pit blind in the field also yielded us a 100-bird day, possibly a once in a lifetime experience we’ll never forget. The guides are knowledgeable, professional, and truly passionate about what they do. As a huge bonus, the on-site lodging—the availability and quality are second to none. It’s a killer setup for the night before your hunt and comfortable after a long day in the field. A great space for food and entertainment with plenty of beds for a full crew. If you’re serious about waterfowl hunting, Big Thompson Outfitters is the place to be! Can’t wait to book our trips for next season! 🦆🔥

    We came in from Nebraska for a weekend hunt and had a blast. Hunting conditions were tough the first day but we still killed birds. We crunched them on day two. Facilities were insane! One of the nicest blind set ups I've seen and where we stayed was great! I'll be back soon!

    Went out with Big Thompson Outfitters and hunted the Train Station! Talk about an epic hunt, with an epic blind, and even better set of guides. If you are looking for an amazing day of hunting, jokes, warm coffee, and warm breakfast, oh plus BIRDS, then Big Thompson Outfitters is the guided hunt you never knew you needed. Highly recommend giving these guys a go, they will put the birds in your face and make sure you are accommodated to the best of their abilities. If I could give a 10/5 stars I would!!!
