About this package

These hunts are conducted on private land in the Ruby Mountains in southwest Montana. We primarily use horses and hiking, but sometimes we will use ATV and UTVS. These guided hunting trips place two hunters with one of our experienced Montana elk guides with a maximum of 4 hunters per week. Depending on the situation and ability of the hunter many methods of hunting are used to increase the clients' odds of success; Spot and stalk calling, wallows, tree-stands, and more. There is nothing more exciting than a bugling match with a bull elk on a crisp September morning!
