5-Day Guided Rifle Elk & Mule Deer Combo Hunt

About this package

Our Elk/Deer rifle hunting combination package is conducted on private land in the Ruby Mountains of Southwest Montana with one of our hunting guides. The area contains a substantial resident elk population with a high bull-to-cow ratio, giving you a great opportunity for a successful hunt. The terrain varies from open foothills to timbered mountainsides and canyons at elevations from 6000 to 8000 feet above sea level. There are over 16,000 acres within the guided hunting area controlled by 4 Dot Outfitters, providing excellent summer and winter range for both elk and mule deer. The Mule Deer population in Southwest Montana is currently on the rise. This area traditionally harbors some trophy Mule Deer bucks, especially late in the season. We ask hunters to only shoot a Mule Deer buck if they are going to mount it. Hunts are conducted from a base camp consisting of a log cabin, 16 x 24 solid-wall hunting shack and wall tents on the banks of Trout Creek. All Hunts are for 5 Days and include 2 Hunters with 1 Guide.

Guest weight limit of 250 pounds on elk hunts; can accommodate over that weight limit using ATVs and UTVs. One-on-one guided hunts are available upon request for an additional fee.
