What's the cheapest buffalo hunting outfitter in Tennessee?

The $3,000 floor, and what it doesn't include

That "license & tags" line isn't a state requirement either way, to be clear — it's a preserve amenity some outfitters bundle in and others don't, on top of a hunt none of them need a Tennessee license for.

Every price here is per animal, not per day and not multiplied by party size — a real number for one hunter taking one buffalo.

The best-reviewed ranch isn't the cheapest one

It doesn't publish a buffalo price at all; you call for a quote. That's a different question than "cheapest," and it's worth knowing going in: the ranch with the most reviews behind it isn't the one holding this state's floor price, and the one that does (Standing Rock, 15 reviews) is a smaller operation than most of the others here.

One more thing worth confirming on the phone: two of these six ranches, Bridgecreek Farms and Wilderness Hunting Lodge, also sell a separate water buffalo hunt — a different animal, priced separately. Say "buffalo" and mean the American bison hunt, not the water buffalo one, before a deposit changes hands.
